Food Pantry

Our mission is to ensure our neighbors do not go hungry during times of need and transition by providing access to nutritious food- because no one should go hungry.

How to Get Food

Urban Ministries of Wake County provides weekly food assistance to individuals and families in need.

Who Can Receive Food:

  • Any Wake County resident experiencing food insecurity. No referral is required. All are welcome.

Where to Receive Food:

  • We make food access convenient by serving our community curbside at 1390 Capital Blvd. in Raleigh, NC 27603, Monday – Thursday beginning at 8:30 a.m. until supplies run out.
  • Should you miss these hours, come around to the front desk during business hours Monday-Thursday.

Be sure to check our website for holiday closures and hours.

Frequency:

  • You may receive one food box per household each week.

What’s Included:

  • Food boxes include healthy groceries, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, produce, and non-perishable pantry items. Availability may vary.

Household Information:

  • We may ask for basic household information exclusively to ensure we provide enough food for your household or as required to meet reporting requirements, and for no other reason.

Respect & Safety:

  • We are committed to providing services with care, compassion, and dignity. We ask all guests to treat staff, volunteers, and fellow neighbors with respect.
