Case Management Coordinator (Part-time)

Pay Rate:                             $13.00 / hour

Department:                      Open Door Clinic

The part-time Case Management Coordinator supports the Clinic Department in processing Charity Care applications to assist patients with scheduling imaging and specialty referrals to hospitals and private doctor’s offices. The Case Management Coordinator is also responsible for handling billing inquiries resulting from referrals as well as assisting in other aspects of clinic operations.

28 hour work weekMonday through Friday, hours will vary but currently will be between 9am – 5pm.  Benefits include:  pro-rated PTO and holidays, regular wages paid during the office closure between 12/26 and 12/31.

 

Experience/ Skills, Requirements:

  • Fluent Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency required.
  • At least 2-years of college level courses preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical office experience.
  • Ability to follow HIPPAA guidelines and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of several Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, listening, speaking) skills with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to successfully and efficiently multi-task.
  • Team Player.

Medical Assistant (Part-time)

Job Objective/Summary: The Medical Assistant supports the flow of clinic with the delivery of patient care.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
-Perform intake, triage, and physician support throughout the medical visit.
-Schedule appointments via phone, voicemail system, or in person.
-Complete patient photos in Athena.
-Interpret as needed / available.
-Assist provider volunteers in navigating the EMR system.
-Oversight of intake volunteers and their training.
-Perform lab specimen collection.
-Record and retrieve EKGs.
-Perform sanitizing procedures of the Clinic.
-Assist with Clinic closing procedures.
-Assigned as back-up Vaccine Coordinator.
-Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 28 hours a week. Due to COVID19, evening clinic shifts have been cancelled until further notice. Temporary work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 11AM to 6PM.

(Regular schedule is: Monday to Thursday 1:30PM to 8:30PM)

Overnight Relief / Shift Monitor (Part -Time) | Helen Wright Center for Women

This is a highly responsible support position managing the overnight operation of a shelter for 62 homeless women. Work primarily involves the use of direct service skills, overseeing the admittance, safety and general welfare of women seeking shelter services. The Overnight/Relief Shift Monitor, under the supervision of the Facility and Operation Lead, is responsible for assuring quality service to all program participants in a compassionate and professional manner.
